Review: Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean

I picked up a few Soap and Glory products at Boots during my trip to Bangkok earlier this year and Peaches and Clean was one of them. Boots was having a buy two, get one free promotion and I thought it was a good chance to finally get some of the Soap and Glory products that I've been eyeing. Peaches and Clean is supposed to be a makeup remover but I use it as my morning cleanser instead so this review will not include any comments on its performance in removing makeup.

The product is an extremely thick and creamy cleanser. It feels more like a lotion and it doesn't lather up at all. It is not like your typical cleanser and it definitely takes some time to get used to. I apply one pump of the cleanser to my damp face and massage it all over. It doesn't rinse off very well and I do not get the clean feeling that I usually get when I use a cleanser. The magic only happens after I towel dry my face. Once I've wiped my face, I find that my skin is so smooth and clean. You'll get used to the weird consistency after awhile and I don't think my skin has ever felt so smooth. It is really moisturizing as well so I think it's definitely suitable for both dry and oily skin.

Peaches and Clean smells exactly like Lakerol Grape. It does smell like a very, very sweet and slightly minty peach. The mint does provide a refreshing feeling but be careful not to get it into your eyes because it really stings. The product description states that it removes waterproof mascara but I don't think it's wise to let the product get anywhere near your eyes. Trust me on that.

Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean is a very pampering face wash. I've been using it every morning since I got it and I really enjoy it even though it doesn't do anything for my clogged t-zone like it's supposed to. On a side note, I'm almost done with the product and I can't get the last bits out of the bottle. It is really thick so it doesn't budge! Any suggestions on what I should do?
