Review: The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner

The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner has got to be one of the best beauty discoveries I've made this year. My boyfriend picked this up when he was battling with acne and he stopped using it because he found it to be too drying for this skin. He uses it with other acne-fighting products so the overall effect can really dry out the skin. I don't have acne but I really like tea tree for its antibacterial properties and I didn't want the whole bottle to go to waste so I started using it instead.

This toner is designed to be shaken before use. I'm not sure what the milky settlement is but you have to shake the bottle quite vigorously to get it to mix in properly. I apply it all over my face with a cotton pad and I absolutely love the scent of tea tree. This toner also contains witch hazel so it really cleanses your skin from any residue cleanser and sebum. 

I don't actually have troubled skin so I'm not sure how this works in that aspect but for my normal to combination skin, the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner is surprisingly nice. It was a bit drying at first but my skin quickly got accustomed to it and I can use it twice a day without it drying out my skin. 

Overall, I like toners that make my skin feels clean while leaving no sticky residue and this is exactly that. Most of The Body Shop toners come in 200ml bottles but the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner is a whooping 400ml for the same price. I'll definitely pick this up again!

Review: The Body Shop Skin Primer Matte It

Silicone primers can smooth out skin texture and allow makeup to glide on easily. A good primer should also prolong the longevity of your makeup and is definitely a good investment. The Body Shop is a colourless silicone primer that evens out my skin texture and allow concealer and liquid foundation to glide over.

This simple primer does solve texture issues but I find that it doesn't really enhance the wear of my makeup. Personally, I find that oil control is more important that achieving a silky smooth base as I only wear powder foundation now and do not really need that function of a silicone primer.

I have not found a primer that really works for me so I've stopped using primers entirely. I would probably pick up another primer in the future, leave me a comment with your recommendations!

Review: Soap & Glory The Breakfast Scrub

Soap & Glory has got to be one of my favourite brands ever. So far, the few skin care and body products that I've tried are all really nice. One of their body products I've tried is The Breakfast Scrub. This scrub has a maple syrup scent and it really smells good enough to eat.

The Breakfast Scrub is a sugar scrub that constants skin-loving ingredients such as oat and shea butter to keep your skin moisturized. This scrub is packed full of granules to give you the maximum exfoliating effect. Generally, sugar scrubs are a little too exfoliating for my eczema-prone skin and I have to use this sparingly or my skin will look and feel raw and dry. Because of my dry skin, I'm better off with more moisturizing scrubs but you will really enjoy this if you love really exfoliating scrubs.

If you haven't tried anything from Soap & Glory, this and their Clean On Me shower gel will be something nice to try out. I do have one gripe about their products and it's their use of parabens. I've previously discussed about parabens here. I will still continue to use their products even though they contain parabens but I would much prefer if they can find substitutes to preserve their products!

Review: The Body Shop Shimmer Waves

The Body Shop Shimmer Waves in Blush is a compact that consists of a white and four different shades of pink. You can use the colours either individually or together to achieve different looks for different purposes.

I only use this as a highlighter, either concentrating more on the white for a more pronounced highlight or swirling the colours together for a muted look. You can also choose to use the darker shades of pink as a blush. I only use this as a highlighter as I find the sheen a little too much if used as a blush all over the cheeks.

Honestly, I don't reach for this highlighter much as pink tones do not really suit my skin colour. This product also has a very metallic sheen to it and I really don't fancy it. Don't get me wrong, I love shimmery highlighters such as The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer and NARS Albatross but the Shimmer Waves is just too frosty for me.

I just couldn't get around to using the Shimmer Waves much even though I've had it for quite some time. I've since gotten rid of it and I've learnt my lesson to never get a pink highlighter ever again!

Review: Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Liner

The Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Liner is a rich and creamy eyeliner that can be used both on the eyelids and on the waterline. This eyeliner is highly raved about and is supposedly budge-proof even on the waterline.

Taupe is my favourite everyday eyeliner. I don't like to use a black eyeliner on daily basis as I find that it can be a little too harsh sometimes and Taupe is a great alternative. Though subtle, it offers a nice definition that makes my eye makeup look well put together. It does transfer a little sometimes but it's no big deal as the color is not too dark.

I use the Nude to highlight my inner corner but I don't think its great for that purpose. The formula is rich and creamy and it looks a little cakey on the inner corner. I prefer these two NYX eyeliners for this purpose. This eyeliner can be used on the waterline but it does wear off quite quickly on my slightly watery eyes.

The formula of these eyeliners is creamy and nicely pigmented but I'm not hugely impressed by it. I really like the colour of the Taupe eyeliner though and I will look for another eyeliner in a similar colour to try out. Review: Sleek MakeUP Blush by 3 Palettes

Sleek MakeUP is known for their affordable and highly pigmented products and their Blush by 3 Palettes are one of their bestsellers. I have it in four different color combinations - Sugar, Flame, Pink Sprint and Lace.

I do like the shades in all four of the palettes and I find them all to be very wearable, regardless of how bright or dark they look in the pan. The pigmentation of these blushes vary shade to shade. Lace and Pink Sprint really pack a punch and you will have to use a very light hand during application. 

Sugar is the most muted palettes in the bunch. It consists of a brick red (Turbinado), a shimmery rosy brown (Muscovado) and a light peach (Demerara). Both the brick red and the light peach are matte and very wearable. The shimmery rosy brown shade consists of very fine shimmer and can be used as a blush or a shimmer layer on top of a matte blush. This palette is probably the most versatile out of the four as it contains three entirely different colors which will go nicely with a variety of makeup looks.

Flame is my favorite palette out of the bunch, simply because the pigmentation is not over-the-top and the colors are all very easy to wear on a daily basis. This palette features a light dusty red (Molten), an orange-red (Bonfire) and a shimmery red (Furnace). I really adore all three of these shades, especially Furnace. I have never bought a red blush on its own before and this palette definitely opened the door to future red blushes purchases! Red blushes are actually extremely easy to wear and not scary at all. They may look very intense in the pan but they really translate nicely onto my skin.

Pink Sprint is a palette that centres about purples. It contains a dark plum (Pinktini), a florescent pink (Pink Ice) and a dark mauve shade has a strong plum undertone (Pink Parfait). Pink Parfait has just a tiny bit of shimmer running through it but it doesn't really show up on my skin. This palette is not as versatile as the rest. If you want to wear a deep plum or bright pink, you have to coordinate your eye and lip makeup.

Lace is probably the most popular palette out of all the Blush by 3 palettes that Sleek MakeUP makes. This palette has a dusty orange (Chantilly), a shimmery peachy coral (Guipure) and a coral (Crochet). The color combination is great, you get a good variety of wearable colors that can go with a lot of different looks. Guipure is a highly raved about blush that will tickle your fancy if you enjoy shimmery blushes.

Despite having great color payoff, most of the blushes in these palettes are not as easy to blend as I would like. You definitely need to use a very light hand when applying them and build the color up slowly as some of the shades, especially the matte ones, are incredibly hard to blend. If you are used to finely milled blushes that blend out easily, you'll find some of these blushes really hard to work with.

Overall, these blush palettes are a great way to try out different colors without busting the bank. However, I do not think that these palettes are a must to have because some of the colors can be really hard to blend. If you're a makeup addict who loves to try different colors of blushes, these can be a good way to expand your collection but do bear it mind that they will need some work to look good!

Review: NYX Slide On Pencil & Wonder Pencil

I'm a big fan of highlighting my inner corner. It really makes a world of difference, especially on my permanently tired eyes. Instead of using a shimmery eye shadow on the entire inner corner, I prefer to draw a slight line from the inner corner extending to the front portion of my lower lash line. I don't line my waterline because I find that my eyes look too opened and scary so these pencils are used on the lash line only.

The Slide On (Glide On, Stay On & Definitely A Turn On Water Proof, Extreme Shine) Eye Liner is a buttery soft pencil that lasts amazingly well. I have it in Pure White and I love it for a dramatic pop of brightness. The colour is opaque in one application but I prefer to use this lightly to achieve a more natural look. This pencil lasts all day on me and it hangs around even when my eyes are watery. It does fade a little throughout the day but the fading is minimal. I have tried to line my waterline with this but the colour just doesn't transfer and it could be because it's just too creamy to cling onto the waterline. I've seen some reviews online saying that this pencil cannot be sharpened and that is not true. I use the Sephora sharpener to sharpen this pencil and it works perfectly.

The Wonder Pencil is meant to be a concealer pencil which you can use to correct and conceal specific points like along your lips or under your brow bone. For me, I feel that this pencil is way too dry to look good as a concealer pencil. As a inner corner highlighter, this pencil doesn't last as long as the Slide On Pencil and it tends a flake a little bit due to its dry formula. I have used it to correct my lip line a couple of times and I don't think this pencil is opaque enough to serve that purpose. I have it in Light and I love the colour because it looks really natural yet brightening. This pencil does transfer onto the waterline but it doesn't last for that purpose at all.

In comparison, the Slide On Pencil is a clear winner in terms of formulation and longevity but it doesn't come in a nude colour which is a real bummer. I might look into getting a darker colour (that is not black) for my upper lash line. Any recommendations?

Review: Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15

The Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 is one of my favourite lip products of all time. I used these tinted lip balms all throughout my winter holiday in Beijing last year and they were so amazing. I find it so difficult to wear colour on my lips when they are dry and cracking because many lipsticks and lip glosses tend to worsen my lips' condition and everything just goes downhill when my lips start to peel. These tinted lip balms were an absolute life saviour. Not only are they ultra nourishing and healing, they are also nicely pigmented and they gave me a surprisingly decent wash of colour over my lips.

The formulation of the Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 is amazing. A little SPF is always good. I tend to neglect my lips when it comes to sun protection so it doesn't hurt to have a good lip treatment that helps. These lip balms are also intensely moisturising and they actually heal my dry and peeling lips while offering my lips a nice coat of colour. It's really rare to find a product that can do both. You do feel the lip balm on your lips but it's nothing obnoxious. Despite having floral names, these Tinted Lip Treatment actually smell like lemons. It's actually quite citrusy and I'm not a fan of the scent but the product itself is way too good for me to give up.

I have it in two shades: Petal and Rose. I purchased Petal myself and the Rose miniature was a free sample from Sephora. Rose is probably the most famous shade of the line and it is a sheer red that adds just a tiny hint of color to your lips. It's definitely the sheerer of the two and the colour is very simple and classic. It doesn't pack much of a punch but it's definitely a gem when it comes to livening up your look with a sheer wash of dusty red.

Petal looks more like a warm dusty pink. I'm not entirely sure how to describe the colour. It is definitely a slightly darker and muted pink when worn on my lips but there is just a really slight tinge of peachiness that makes the shade look a just a tad fresher and younger.

The Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment retails at S$33 at Sephora. That's quite a hefty price tag for a tinted lip balm but trust me, it is worth every single cent. I would love to pick up a few more shades of the Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment in the future!

Review: Acne Clear Pimple Treatment Cream

For years I've been using Retin-A as a spot treatment and I swore by it. It is really effective and I can usually see results overnight. Of course, retinoids are not for everyone and it can create a hot mess if you're not careful with it. It definitely takes some time for your skin to get accustomed to it. Despite having used it for years, I'm still not able to use it twice a day without my skin peeling. The peeling is very mild for me but it really annoys me because it makes my spot looks worse under makeup. I can only get away with applying the product directly to the spot once a day and only sparingly.

I thought I would be using Retin-A for the rest of my life until I tried the Acne Clear Pimple Treatment Cream. My cousin actually recommended it to me and she raves about it. I never thought I would say this but this unassuming cream is actually so much better than my beloved Retin-A. I usually apply the product on the spot and leave it on overnight. Most of the time, the spot will be almost gone in the morning. Bigger spots might need a few more applications but they are actually significantly reduced after just one application.

The cream itself is actually tinted so you will have to sheer it out if you want to use it in the day. I would usually prefer the cream to be either clear or white but in this case I don't really mind the tint as I typically use it as an overnight treatment. I find that this is not as drying as my Retin-A and you can use it more liberally without having to worry about flaky skin.

The Acne Clear Pimple Treatment Cream is truly a hidden gem. It's extremely effective and really inexpensive. If you're on the hunt for a good spot treatment, do give this one a shot. It may surprise you!

Review: The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Miracle Solid Oil

Argan Oil is all in the rage these days and I was really intrigued when The Body Shop released their Wild Argan Oil collection a few months ago. To the regular line of body lotion, body butter and shower gel, The Body Shop has added a number of new products and one of them is the Miracle Solid Oil.

I have to say, this is probably my best beauty find of the year. As the name suggests, the oil is in a solid form. You can pick up the product by rubbing your fingers on the surface. I don't usually like products that you have to dip your fingers into but there is no other way of packaging this product. Lint will get caught on the surface but I love this product too much to care about that.

It is a fairly thick oil so it will definitely linger on the skin. It doesn't fully absorb into the skin so this is definitely more suitable for application on selected areas instead of all over your body. This solid oil does melt a little in the heat and you may find that the surface of the oil will liquify slightly if you've been out in the heat for awhile. It settles back into a solid form fairly quickly once you enter an air-conditioned area and the consistency will remain the same. I didn't like the scent of the product in the beginning but it has since grown on me. The scent is not for everyone and it actually lingers so do give it a sniff before committing.

The solid oil comes in a tin that is perfect for the purse. This product is so, so versatile and it has become a staple in my makeup bag. As you all probably already know by now, I suffer from eczema and I always have to carry some kind of body lotion with me to soothe my eczema patches whenever they become dry and itchy. This product is truly amazing for my skin. It is fairly thick in consistency and it provides such great relief for my dry skin. It moisturizes really well and it also acts as a layer of protectant against the elements which can be detrimental of eczema. I used this throughout the two weeks I was in Beijing this fall and my eczema did not flare up at all.

I also use this on my hair to tame frizz or smooth down any flyaways but you do have to be careful not to apply too much as it can be rather heavy. It will work on a pinch but if you have very fine hair, this product will likely be too heavy for you. The Miracle Solid Oil is also a life saviour when I'm wearing new shoes. As you may know, applying some lotion to your feet can help to prevent blisters and this oil does a much better job than any body lotion. It is rich and thick and it lasts much, much longer.

The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Miracle Solid Oil has been such a game changer for me and I'm so glad I picked it up. It's convenient and effective and I will definitely repurchase this! Do you have a favorite multi-purpose product? Share them with me below!

Review: Sleek Brow Kit

The Sleek Brow Kit consists of a colored wax and a coordinating powder. The compact and sturdy box includes a good quality mirror, a pair of mini tweezers, a mini angled brush and a mini flat rounded brush. The brushes and tweezers are really tiny and you'll be better off using your own brushes and tweezers but they would work on a pinch if you need something on-the-go.

I picked up the kit in Dark which consists of a slightly warm dark brown wax with a powder that is a few shades lighter. You are supposed to use the wax to shape and fill in your brows then set the wax with the powder for a long-lasting finish. The wax is pretty thick and very creamy and it glides on like a dream. It is also very, very pigmented so you do have to be precise in your application. Get the tiniest amount of product on your brush and work in layers if you need to build up the intensity. The powder is also fairly pigmented and you can definitely use it on its own if you have warmer and lighter hair. The powder has a really creamy texture that blends well and I would use it on its own if the color was a better match.

With a good angled brush, you can achieve a very sculpted brow look. It does fade a tiny bit on me, even after setting it with the powder, but it's nothing major and my brows still look intact. However, for me, I prefer more natural looking brows. Sure, I like sharp lines and defined brows but I don't want my brows to look completely drawn on. The wax doesn't allow you to achieve a very natural look and I very much prefer to use a brow pencil. In addition, if you're not used to wearing brow gel or similar products, you may find the wax to feel a little "heavy" as compared to powders or pencils.

When I first got this brow kit, it was only available in Light, Dark and Extra Dark, all of which are shades of brown. Despite the wax in the Dark kit being a warm brown, it is not too red but it is definitely too dark for my medium skin. As with my hair, my brows are naturally black and even though the brown is really dark, it doesn't blend well with my black hair and I looked like I have multi-colored brows. Sleek has since added a Black kit to the line and I think that might be more suitable.

Overall, the Sleek Brow Kit is great if you like to sport strong brows. It is a great colored wax that fills in your brows and holds unruly hairs in place at the same time. Unfortunately, this product is not what I need in a brow product and I will stick with my NXY Auto Eyebrow Pencil.

Review: The Body Shop Concealer Pencil & All-In-One Concealer

The Body Shop's makeup line consists of two concealers: the Concealer Pencil and the All-In-One Concealer.

The Concealer Pencil comes in a chubby stick form which has to be sharpened. The Body Shop also sells the sharpener for the pencil separately but you don't have to get it if you have a suitable sharpener. I have this concealer in shade 04, which is the darkest color in the range available in Singapore. It is a little too dark for me but I can still get away with it. The packaging is a big disappointment for me because I hate to sharpen products. In addition, the cap actually broke a few weeks after I got it and I had to stick it shut with tape.

I dislike this concealer tremendously. I was expecting to apply the concealer from the stick directly to my face and blending it with my fingers but the concealer is way too dry for that to happen comfortably. I find that it is easier to blend when I use a stiff synthetic brush to pick up the product from the pencil tip and apply the product with the brush. This concealer is definitely not for the under-eye area, it's simply too dry for that. I've used it on blemishes and spots and again, I found it to be unsuitable. It's so drying that it cracks and looks cakey shortly after application. It's got decent coverage but if it's not enough for you, you won't be able to build it up without it looking like a cakey mess.

The All-In-One concealer can be considered heaven-sent if you compare it with the Concealer Pencil. My shade is in 03, which was the darkest color available in Singapore at the time I bought it. The Body Shop may have increased the color options but I have not checked out their makeup section in a long time. The color is a little light for me but still works fine as I conceal the mostly the centre of my face. This concealer is extremely creamy and it glides on like a dream. It has a colourless core which contains vitamin E and marula oil and I think that really makes the concealer ultra silky and creamy. It's so creamy and soft that the concealer stick actually broke off while I was using it. It's definitely annoying but I guess it just shows how soft the concealer is.

The coverage of this concealer is very light and is definitely not for you if you have some heavy-duty concealing to do. I use this under my eyes, my forehead, my nose and the area around my nose and I find it perfect for everyday use. This concealer is very thin in texture and can be built up if necessary but I really like the light coverage as it offers a more natural finish. However, if I do get spots or pimples, I will have to use another concealer to get better coverage. You definitely have to set the concealer with powder or it will slip and slide. Despite the sleek texture, it can last very well on the skin if set with a good powder.

Overall, the All-In-One Concealer performs much better than the Concealer Pencil. However, do bear in mind that the coverage is light and you will have to set it with a good powder to make it work. Another thing to note is that the color options for The Body Shop's face products are very limited so do pop into a store to get a match before purchasing!

Review: NIVEA Creme

I went to Beijing for vacation this summer and the dry air coupled with the dust caused my eczema to flare up badly. My regular moisturizer offered no relief to my dry and itchy skin and I was looking for a quick fix. There weren't many travel sized body moisturizers available so I picked up the NIVEA Creme. The NIVEA Creme is highly raved about for its moisturizing properties so I thought I would give it a whirl.

The cream is extremely thick and I find it really hard to spread all over my skin. It definitely leaves a film on top of your skin and it never seems to fully sink in. It doesn't stain my sheets or clothes but it definitely feels uncomfortable and I don't enjoy it, not even in the night. It did offer a little comfort when I applied it directly to my eczema area but I don't think it is sufficiently moisturizing. My eczema did not get any better and my skin still felt parched and itchy.

I know that there are people who use this on their face as a moisturizer or a makeup remover and I don't think I dare to do that. If it doesn't work for my body, I don't think it would work for my face. I can't imagine how this would sit on my face and how greasy I would look!

As a whole, I'm not impressed with the NIVEA Creme at all and I will not purchase it again. If this product works for you, do share with me how you use it!

Review: Clinique 3-Step System

Clinique was having a roadshow in Sephora a couple of months ago and they were giving out samples of their 3-Step System. I received the dry combination set which consists of the Liquid Facial Soap, Clarifying Lotion 2 and Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. First off, I just want to say that I don't have problematic skin so this review is not meant for you if you are looking for acne solutions. The Clinique 3-Step System consists of very basic products which I was really keen to try out and this review will only cover the products' basic properties for non-problematic skin types.

The samples were of a pretty good size and I was able to get a really good feel of all three products. I'm not very impressed by the system as a whole as I find it to be a little too drying for my skin type. I think this system will be more suitable for oily skin.

The Liquid Facial Soap is a gel cleanser that does a very thorough job at getting rid of any surface dirt and grime. It makes my skin absolutely squeaky clean and I'm not sure if I like that. I do have combination skin but I feel that this cleanser completely strips my skin of its natural oils and it can be very drying. My skin wasn't flaky but I definitely feel the tightness that is often associated with dry skin. This is a little too strong for my combination skin and I definitely prefer a cleanser that is less stripping.

The Clarifying Lotion 2 is probably my least favourite step in the system. This toner contains alcohol, and probably a lot of it, because the first thing that you smell is the alcohol. It's probably just as bad as nail polish remover. You do get used to the scent after awhile but that offers no comfort. It is a very basic toner and does a good job at picking up any residue left from your cleanser. The alcohol and witch hazel doesn't bother my skin but I'm sure it can be too stripping for a lot of skin types so do keep that in mind.

My favourite step of the system is the moisturizer. The Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel does live up to its name in my opinion. I used it in the morning and at night and I'm so impressed. I love this so much that I went to get the 200ml version and I've been using it religiously twice a day ever since. Initially, I was kind of on the fence about it because I don't really fancy gel moisturizers. I prefer creams over gels, especially for the night. However, after having used this for a couple of weeks, I find that my skin does look dramatically different. I don't know what it is but my skin's texture just seems so much smoother. I have very dull and uneven skin and I have to say that this moisturizer has made a world of difference for me. This gel moisturizer is sufficiently hydrating for my skin and I have not experienced any dryness. However, I don't think this will be sufficient for dryer climates and I did use another moisturizer on my recent trip to Beijing.

Overall, the Clinique 3-Step System is not the best skin care regime for me but I'm really glad I discovered the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. Do check it out if you have combination or oily skin!

Review: The Body Shop Nutriganics Smoothing Eye Cream

Even though I'm only in my early-twenties, my eye area does need some extra care because I have a few lines stemming out from my inner corner. They're a little more prominent than what I would define as "fine lines" so they're pretty worrisome. The Body Shop Nutriganics line is targeted to fight the first signs of ageing and I thought it was just what I needed.

The Smoothing Eye Cream is a very lightweight gel-cream. It does take a little while sink in but it is still lightweight enough to use under concealer. I use this in the morning and I opt for a heavier eye cream in the night. The eye cream is supposed to diminish fine lines and brighten dark circles but I don't think it really helped in that department. The lines still look as awful as ever and I don't see any significant improvement to the darkness under my eyes.

The Body Shop Nutriganics Smoothing Eye Cream is a very basic eye cream with mediocre anti-ageing properties. Despite that, I like how the cream maintains its lightweight texture while being sufficiently moisturizing. Review: Soap and Glory Puffy Eye Attack

The Soap and Glory Puffy Eye Attack is the second skin care product that I've tried from the brand. This turbo-boost hydragel claims to combat dark eye circles and reduce puffy eyes. It doesn't claim to be deeply moisturising or anti-ageing so it is more suited for younger skin. I struggle with both dark eye circles and puffy eyes so I decided to give this eye cream a try.

The eye cream is a gel formula that is rather thick in consistency. As with most eye creams, a little goes a long way and a thin layer of it is suffice to moisturise the eye area. I find that it takes slightly longer than I would like for it to fully absorb into the skin, especially when you apply a little too much. It is kind of a hassle, especially when I'm in a rush to apply makeup so I only use this eye cream at night or on days that I'm not applying makeup.

Despite being a gel, I find the eye cream to be sufficiently moisturising. However, if you suffer from dry skin, this will not be sufficient for you and you will be better off with a cream formulation.

I find that this eye cream does help to de-puff my under-eye area but it didn't help with my dark eye circles at all. My dark eye circles are still prominent even when I get plenty of sleep so I'm not expecting an eye cream to work miracles. I'm not too disappointed that it didn't help lighten the darkness. I am pretty pleased with it's de-puffing properties so not all it lost. 

The Soap and Glory Puffy Eye Attack is a good eye cream for de-puffing. Even though this eye cream is sufficiently moisturising for me, I still prefer cream formulas to gel formulas. I find that it's kind of odd for a gel to take such a long time to sink in and this limits the use of the eye cream for me. Soap and Glory skin care has performed rather well for me and I would like to try more from their line. Do you have any recommendations? Leave me a comment!
